Sealing Concrete or Masonry Surfaces:

Step #1: Clean the Surface. If needed, clean the surface with a concrete etcher/degreaser, being sure to follow the instructions on the container.

Step #2: Stain the Surface. Allow the surface to dry after cleaning. If desired stain the surface with a stain made especially for concrete using a brush and roller.

Step #3: Seal the Surface. After the surface has dried, apply a sealer, such as QUIKRETE Concrete & Masonry High Gloss Sealer (No. 8800-06), to give the surface a more finished look and protect it from mold, mildew, dirt, and wear.
