St. Simons Island Real Estate: Celebrate Independence Day Island Style!

St. Simons Island real estate is the place to be the weekend of July 4th, 2015.

There are a number of celebratory events scheduled to take place with one of the first kicking off on the 3rd. Its the Annual Sunshine Arts & Crafts Show at Pier Village, which is set to last an entire three days. A grand fireworks show, Little Light Music Oceanfront Concert, 5K Run and Movies at the Casino are all part of the communitys Independence Week plans too.

The crafts show and Little Light Music Concert Series are annual, 4th of July weekend favorites. The list of Pier Village craft show vendors has yet to be released but we do know who will be performing at the lighthouse on Sunday. It is Mason Waters and the Groove Allstars and theyre anticipated to take the open air stage at 7 p.m. So you can expect to hear a wide range of classic and contemporary hits.



As for the grand fireworks display, its presently scheduled to take place at the Neptune Park Fun Zone on the 4th. Its on Beachview Drive and Pier Village is on Mallery.

As such, St. Simons Island rentals near those two areas are expected to sell out quickly. If you miss out on them, there are other vacation homes located within driving distance of both the lighthouse and craft show grounds.

If you are interested in Movies at the Casino, make plans to stick around until the 10th. Thats when the event organizers will be showing an 111-minute long film from the United Kingdom. Its called The Invisible Woman and show time is set for 7 p.m.



Restaurants in the area will be open for those that want to eat before or after the movie.
